Have you considered the nutritional aspects of parasite susceptibility? I live in Australia and we have excellent results from the Pat Coleby free choice mineral lick which has sulphur (great for preventing external parasites) and copper (great for preventing internal parasites) along with some other ingredients. (Note take care with copper too much can kill). I would recommend the book Natural Sheep Care by Pat Coleby as a good starting point for considering this aspect.
