    I did something similar last year and learned that vetch and peas were frustrating because they liked to attach to the plants, so I would recommend legumes that don’t vine, maybe clover or lentils. I would stick with grasses and legumes for brassica and broadleaves. If you are growing beans (legumes) or grasses (wheat, oats) then pair with a bit of the other crops. Overall I was very happy with the result. I could mow down a section then plant when I was ready, which kept the soil covered and happy.
