This is the stepping outside the box part of the discussion – You are correct because what we do isn’t considered composting in any form. We tie up the ingredients in a way so they can’t be biologically active without water.

Technically, we make dehydrated, concentrated soil. By applying an appropriate amount of AgRehab to barren play sand, you will have all the ingredients needed to qualify and act like healthy soil.

We want the composting process to start after it has been applied and watered. By controlling the makeup of AgRehab we can predict its behavior and move the composting process right into the rhizosphere. Because of the nutrient density, we only need 1/2 ton/acre to rehabilitate poor soil in the first year. Because there are residual nutrients, we hope to reduce the amount needed to 1/4 ton/acre year by the third application.

I don’t mean to broadly diminish the value of compost. We are however proving it is not necessary when it comes to soil rehabilitation. If we can save the step of above-ground composting while rehabilitating land in faster and better ways than ever, isn’t that a good thing?
