‘is there a case where it isn’t necessary to apply compost when it comes to soil health’

I don’t think there’s as many people as you expect who consider applying compost a necessity.

Also, it seems like your product would function more as a fungal inoculant than anything else, I’m not really sure why you’re trying to valorize it by comparing it to ‘compost’, a term that doesn’t clearly identify an amendment.

I checked out the sand videos – It just doesn’t seem like good experimentation, especially with no controls and some unclear explanations of burning seeds, replanting, adding substrate to the bottom, etc. Anyway, why is growing squash in sand a relevant test? I’m sure you could grow squash in sand by dripping in soluble synthetic fertilizers – that doesn’t mean soluble synthetic fertilizers are improving soil health.

If you’re really looking for feedback, I think you’ve got it – people are skeptical and tired of being sold ‘miracle pellets’. Especially with no data to back up the claims. These photos and videos – not doing it for me.

Maybe you could reframe the conversation, tell us what equipment you have access to and what it can do, what materials you have access to (or can get paid to collect) – I’m sure people will have some creative ideas to improve your product.

This sort of cryptic explanation of your product isn’t very productive.

    Sorry to be grumpy.
