Disregard the concern. Between 4/25/2025 and 5/14/2025 the rye shot up approximately 2′ reaching a height between 4′-5′ on average. I also checked my records and I used a “variety” rye and not Elbon like my previous years. Whether the rye matured slower due to weather conditions or not being Elbon rye, I am not sure. All in all though, I am pleased and crimping it down today (5/15/2025). A little slower than I was hoping for but very satisfactory.
