I don’t know the answer to your questions. I suspect that if trichoderma is present in the soil, there is a better than even chance it is also in the plant as an endophyte, but that is just a hunch.

The company BiomeMakers would be able to run a test to determine their presence before and after treatment and determine treatment effectiveness.
