I was trying out hemp sound insulation and some sheep wool felt, to replace the landscape fabric because i had a terrible disaster before when some mice build their nest with the plastic fabric right in my compost. The hemp will be done after one year but the wool will probably last some years. For now it seams to be working well, I can say more in the summer when I will harvest the compost.
