    Those are some good points there for sure and thanks for the specific numbers on the minerals. And I think you’re right about the beneficial compounds, too. I assumed a beneficial broad spectrum of them would be present in seawater, and could be applied to plants with good results too if you were able to remove the toxic amount of salts present in that seawater.

    Obviously there is a product that exists that meets this description (seacrop from aea), and it’s around 150 dollars for 5 gallons of it. It’s labeled as concentrated seawater, so now I wonder how much volume of seawater is reduced to get that 5 gallons. I think seacrop is listed as 3% magnesium. If one could get the alchemy right to remove the sodium chloride while retaining everything else, it would still seem like a process best performed at the source (ie, on the beach).
