I would agree that smaller rates in season to limit major impacts is very appropriate.

I also agree that limestone applications are likely to be less damaging than the land clearing.

I have reservations about a soils capacity to regain microbial function from ‘dead’ soil in three days and sustain it. The key question again is when are you measuring. We can’t just focus on one window in time. We need a systemic season long view.
