For another farm we actually have a trial ongoing at the moment with full rate winter canola and a companion of Alexandria clover, vetch and buckwheat. No starter fertilizer. Compost extract with fish hydrolysate, molasses and humic acid applied at planting, in furrow.
so far it looks really good. We did have to apply growth regulator to prevent sprouting.
