Hi Jason, what cover crops have you experimented with so far? I am assuming you need something that provides good cover over winter, but you can get into early in spring? One possible option might be a very heavy seeding rate of oats early enough to grow 30 inches or so tall, then winter kill and mulch the soil until the next spring.
