Last season was a total wash for growing. 2024, we received no significant rain. All the seedz laid dormant throughout the season. This season, we received some rain, but not as much as we normally do, but it was enough to germinate the seedz. Has anyone used Red Algae (Lithothamnion) as a livestock supplement?
It looks like a really promising natural source of calcium, magnesium, and trace minerals. From what I’ve been reading, it may also help with:
-Rumen buffering -helping stabilize pH, especially in high-producing dairy cows
