Sulfur deficiency in soil analyses but not in leaf sap analyses
How important is it to have enough sulfur in the soil?
My Kinsey soil analyses recommend adding 100 kg of sulfur per hectare, but my leaf sap analyses show optimal sulfur levels. The only fertilizer I use regularly is cow manure. Can I reduce nitrogen losses from liquid cow manure with adequate soil sulfur levels?

Somewhat difficult to discern from the picture, but I’m noticing that now after doing cover crops and biological inoculations I only find Nightshade (the purple-flowered weed in the foreground) growing around the margins of the fields! John, is there a correlation between heat unit accumulation and plants photosynthetic capacity?
Example, we move cotton from 20% photosynthetic efficiency to 40%.
