The key ratio is Total Nitrogen / Chloride. (not nitrate)
Insect pressure increases when the sap chloride is higher than total nitrogen.

Iron and Manganese are the two nutrients that are most susceptible to becoming unavailable because of oxidation. Copper and cobalt are also susceptible to oxidation/unavailability. So these are the nutrients that should be in a solution with less oxygen (reduced), more hydrogen (lower pH), and chelated. Chelation doesn’t necessarily reduce…

I’m not very familiar with the area but I recall it is beautiful and a big deciduous fruit growing region. How many hectares of each fruit are you growing? I have been interested in SA orcharding as I wasn’t exposed to it previously.
