nutrient imbalance that slugs and snails are attracted to?
Slugs are attracted to low iron plants. There are many circumstances where a plant will be protected by the same nutrient that can kill the pest. Make sure it is in the right oxidation state that is biologically ative, as there are multiple oxidation states for iron.

Question for the group… do the non hormonal synthetic PGRs actually stop photosynthesis for a week to 10 days? It’s T time. I terminate the cover crop the olde fashioned way, I take a walk about. Trampled underfoot! Crushed it! My crop is very high value. No need for acres and acres of land. Since the crop is medicinal, no synthetic chemicals are used. It is on a very strict no-till organic diet. The cover crop seeds are organic and the water is filtered.

Have you looked into using other biocontrols? Ducks love snails and on a quarter acre you wouldn’t need many, a small flock of runners maybe 1 male and 4-6 females. The only reason…
