It was just to pull calcium from the soil matrix. A group of us had a zoom session with Pete Norwood he had a few papers re lacto bacillus calcium and mycorrhizae fungi. I’m short on time this link might be a good intro https://blog.nutri-tech.com.au/nutri-life-bam/

Hi Steve thanks for that. Did you put the lactic acid out after some sort of calcium was applied or does it have something to do with pulling up calcium from the ground?

G’day Tradd/Lisa I’m mainly using lacto to biologically reduce and chelate elements. I have put some straight lacto out on lighter sand country mainly 20 L per ha one paddock at 40L ha. The intent or understanding behind this was to increase calcium availability.

Hey Steve, this is off subject but I see your using Lactic Acid. Is the lactic acid used just to get biology out there or is it acting as a Chelation of some sort? And is 10 litres to 80 litres a max amount or could you go higher than that?
