Depends on the form of calcium, it shouldn’t be a problem. BioCoatGold already contains calcium though, so more may not be needed.

I’m planning to extract compost and apply in furrow with my corn acres. I’d like to incorporate some calcium with the extract and was curious if I could coat the corn seed with Biocoat Gold?
Am I getting too diverse??? Any gotchas?

For anyone curious what a cross-section of a ~20 year old grapevine with severe trunk diseases looks like! Most sections of the vineyard that are this age have severe decline, trunk diseases etc. Also found some splitgills dining on the dead canewood of an actively growing vine!

That sounds like a super cool project and I know people who would have so much more guidance for you! Increasing genetic diversity in tomatoes is so challenging. Because unless you start with a population that is already higher than the 3% crossing rate (ie promiscuous tomatoes), or you do manual crosses, you would have to start hundreds…
