Never thought of using the first stomach of a cow as inoculum for liquid applications. I feel like integrating ruminants into the system would accomplish roughly the same thing. Also, hilarious bit about Rocky Mountain oysters!

I’ve been consuming soil respiration info these last few days…
Also, here’s an explanation why it’s better to measure soil microbial activity by measuring respiration, instead of doing microbial counts under a microscope

Feb. 18, 2023 – California received a fair amount of rain early in the year of 2023. Much needed rain. For almost the past decade, Southern California has been in a serious drought.
