Are you applying the aragonite at more of a fertilizer rate? 100’s of lbs/acre?
Do you add humates to the aragonite?

Yes I think Aragonite is a great tool, I use it for available Ca in season. I still amend soils with limestone (we have high Mg) but at rates no more than 1000# per acre and well before the growing season. We use a fine grind limestone to assure as much surface area for amount applied. Ratios in the soil are important for biology to thrive…

Possible cover crops to use under trees in orchards?
Seems like a reasonable idea. Plants with yellow blossoms are exceptionally good at finding sulfur in the soil, such as mustards. Are there any yellow blossom alliums? May want to consider other yellow blossom species as well if this is a goal.
