I am interested to hear experiences you may have had with Sunn Hemp. I am seeking to grow it this coming summer after our winter crop harvest, objectives being N fixation and weed suppression. I am thinking of combining it with lab lab, cow pea, perhaps mung bean, buckwheat for P release and also perhaps tillage radish.

Under what conditions do plants need to ferment substances to produce energy and what substances are we talking about? Is ethanol produced in wilting or freshly cut plants?
