Average pH of soil is 8.2+ (some places it’s 9, not in my vineyard). Average yearly rainfall is ~12″-14″. I’ve now catalogued nearly 40 species of plants across 4 functional groups that have quite literally cropped up out of the soil seed back after applying biology, native and introduced. Of chief interest to me is the 3-4 varieties…
