I am more than happy to answer 101 questions 🙂For another farm we actually have a trial ongoing at the moment with full rate winter canola and a companion of Alexandria clover, vetch and buckwheat. No starter fertilizer. Compost extract with fish hydrolysate, molasses and humic acid applied at planting, in furrow.

Hi Stefan, I can’t offer a lot of feedback without asking 100 questions, but there are options to add more diversity to the rotation without extending it. Consider backing off on the rate of canola and seeding it as a diverse blend with other species that will winterkill. Depending on your market there might also be an opportunity to seed…
