We are using biology to anaerobically chelate nutrient. We have been assured it is an amino acid chelated product we end up with.
We did a bit of calcium chloride, but to me the chloride was just undoing the good work of the calcium. On top of this we already have a chloride problem, so it was a bit stupid to be adding more.
I tried the biology on other high calcium products with limited success. In the end we put it to work on calcium nitrate, which seemed a bit left field.
We are using this through fertigation or foliar in combination with other mineral products and seeing good response.
We are also trialing a calcium acetate / molasses mix as a foliar. It is too soon to know what that is doing.
