1) Aphids are on plants with brix between 6 and 8 which is very low. Phosphorus raises brix.
2) The food for aphids is glucose which is made by photosynthesis. Plants convert the glucose to sucrose and upload that to the phloem for storage to the roots. Aphids cannot eat sucrose. To convert glucose to sucrose the plant makes a phosphorus-sucrose synthase enzyme. This enzyme has manganese at the center.
So aphids are a phosphorus and manganese deficiency.
Coca-Cola has phosphoric acid and lots of sucrose. I would do a foliar with that. 60ml/liter. 8 ounces/gallon.
Good luck!
