In regards to testing water I have taken my water samples into the pool shop to get a certain level of accuracy without the cost of sending it off to the lab. It costs me $5 to test the water which is just paying for the sampler. I have included tests results for my farm dam water, which is quite hard, and the tank water. I have had to move to using tank water for foliar mixes, extracts, teas and watering the compost.
