On Sunday July 18th I planted my cover crop seed. I planted sorghum Sudan grass, Sunn hemp, sunflower, brown top millet, and okra. Seeing that summer is the most likely time of year to grow cover crops in my area and in my context I’ll have to do more research to find more diverse options. The Sunn hemp quickly sprouted in under 48 hours although I read that is normal. I’ll have to do some thinning as my cheap seeder really puts out a lot of seed with few plate options available. All seeds were innoculated with BioCoat Gold.
