I don’t have personal experience with it but if I recall correctly you ideally want to keep the lower leaves 10% higher as a bank account, when the lower leaves start to drop you need to apply.

Potassium foliars really are a band aid though as you just can’t get a lot of potassium in through the leaves, it seems to me that the potassium meter is the only really useful one.
