Update on the Hagie 284 – it’s been great. There are quite a few little things that had to be worked on, and the dealer couldn’t have fixed because he acquired it in the winter and couldn’t test for fear of freezing. I’ve sprayed 4 times and plan 2 more this year on soybeans. Corn will be next year and I plan to use it for foliar urea applications. No way would the local co-op be willing to do what I’ve done this year. The smaller wheels mean you need to turn at slow speeds. Wish I would have gotten a 90′ width for the future so I could have traffic lanes to match the 30′ planter. It has a Raven Envisio Pro, which is way nicer than the foam markers. Dealer said it doesn’t have the hydraulics to support autoguide, however a neighbor has it on his. Solid unit, but no creature comforts other than AC. That’s probably why it’s cheap.
