@TomZogas thank you for a couple of great suggestions yesterday- I had zero awareness of Ducerf’s work, and I look forward to digging in on that. I also spoke with Mesa Verde Humates yesterday, and had an excellent conversation with a very knowledgeable rep.
As for standout species- we have light pressure from milkweed and pigweed- but we have one field in particular that is basically overrun by goatweed (woolly croton.)
And yeah- to my way of thinking, it’s not about just understanding goatweed or bindweed or whatever example- it’s about understanding how to understand. How to look at what is in front of me and see what I am looking at across any situation.
