@Stephen_Sinnott I don’t know that your response answers my question, to be honest. I do get that acquiring a good soil balance takes time and numerous applications- but if I need 1000 ppm calcium for this crop at this time- is applying several thousand tons per acre the only option? I will also certainly lose quite a bit of that in our low CEC/high rainfall environment. Alice Miller, who is an agronomist at Soilworks (GSR Calcium) looked over my soil reports and gave me the application rate of 45 grams to the acre for good flocculation, and an additional 90 grams across two more applications. I imagine they have calibrated their application rates according to crop responses- so I’m wondering how that works. The soilworks numbers are an example- I was also given app rates at 2.5 gallons/acre for another product, etc.
