Ultimately, the goal is to plant a diverse perennial mix of flowering/insectary types (did I see a post by you about these type of strips to help with insect pressure?) then occultate every other bed leaving a strip for beneficials in between. Flowering perennials often include legumes, so that with be part of the fertility plan also. If it works, then I’ll have to decide whether to swap vegetable beds with insectary beds every year or every other year. And many other considerations that I have not yet thought to consider.
