The chitin comment is interesting and I was actually looking in to it a bit more last night as I am moving my strawberry’s to a table top pot system because my staff and I really dislike harvesting from the ground and we harvest strawberries for 6 months.

I was hoping to use the black soldier fly frass in my soil mix for chitin as I am trying to replicate a living soil with a full spectrum of nutrients. Do you have any idea of what quantities if chitin a plant like a strawberry needs?
