Like Markus, I would also like to know. The reason is that I have been doing some brix measurement on tree leaves and find that the sampling method changes results by as much as 2 – 4 degree points. The stems have a much higher brix than the rest of the leaf and if you mash a certain way you extract less, if you mash the leaf another way you may get much more. What is your standard process?
