    Hi Tom, thanks for chipping in. The areas are around 200m2 x 3 and the couch grass concentrates on the tree lines (better soil, more irrigation, less competition from winter herbaceous growth).

    Tilling the interline and establishing a cover crop is an option for sure. However this will be challenging on the line and we don’t have the equipment to do mechanical inline disturbance. Maybe removing the mulch, scratching the surface and applying a cover crop to try compete it out is an option. A pass of the grelinette could be a consideration since the areas are relatively small.

    What are the quick covers you use? When is peak activity of couch grass in your context?
