I have not done any soil testing yet… I am thinking about doing a mineral assay (I think that is what it is called) lets you know what is in your parent material… not whether it is plant available or not though… but then at least I know what is present and just need to get biology accessing it. You could quite possibly be correct regarding the watering can doing more of a soil drench, I do have a solo sprayer so I will go back to that and see if it makes a difference.
