Just want to clarify some things. I know some of my phrases sound like I believe we can increase CEC by adding minerals but that’s not what I’m saying. I am saying that by adding calcium in my context the soil report will show an increase in CEC and potentially a lot, but I believe this is false. Something seems wrong with CEC calculation method. In reality I have no idea what the true CEC of my soil is because I don’t believe what I’m seeing on the report is accurate. In fact in my context I believe it is way off.
