One afterthought about iron: there is only little research that I am aware about investigating the changes in primary metab in association in iron, but the two studies I am aware of see an accumulation of carbs in the leaf (I recall of the top of my head, if I am mistaken, I will correct the info later), so the high brix of the plant may be a reflection of the iron value.
