I agree with you Anthony, I see weeds in our Avo orchards as providing organic matter to the soil. We trying to establishing low growing cover crops such as clover and turnips as they are low and won’t interfere with the irrigation sprinklers. I don’t think weeds are a huge competition in terms of nutrients.
