Yes I am a small scale vegetable grower, there is no time to make good compost for this spring so this is my idea for this year. I’m also preparing Johnson-sue bioreactors for next year. I know well about the excess of N and K in the manure in fact I will use very little to give N to the microbes to decompose the wood chips, unfortunately I was convinced that I have access to the compost until now but I have to find another solution. in addition to the wood chips and manure I will add basalt, zeolite (it works as a sponge for K), gypsum, inoculants and leonardite. If I had known before that compost is not an option here I would certainly have sown a cover crop but at this point it is too late so I hope to be able to compost something directly on the spot
