Each time we do soil testing we also send samples off for chromatography testing. It has given a good picture of our progress over the years.
An experienced analyst (not me) can give information on things such as how aerobic the soil is.
We also get feedback on nitrogen availability, the equilibrium of the minerals, and whether they are in the form of clay-humus complexes and being accessed by micro-organisms.
You can tell whether the humus is integrated with the minerals and available to the plants.
You get an indication of the biodiversity and balance of the soil micro-organisms.
We get an indication of the presence of complex substances of high molecular weight, such as proteins, enzymes and vitamins.
It may not answer some of the questions you are asking, but it can give a good picture as to how you are tracking.
