Thanks for your thoughts Darren. I will look that stuff up. I was ignorant going in to this in the area of understanding limits to applied amounts. I’m backing way off now, of course most things have been brought to a desirable range anyhow. I used azomite in hopes of increasing silicon levels but it doesn’t appear that it has effected the levels on soil tests. I recently used Diatomaceous earth in one section and tested after 60 days and saw no increase in available silicon either. Maybe it will in time. I think the aluminum in azomite is very bound up so not likely to be a problem, it didn’t effect the numbers on my soil tests. I don’t plan on using it again.
