This is very new information for me. I do know that EDTA is used by doctors in IVs to chelate heavy metals in people suffering from heavy metal exposure (mercury, cadmium, etc). How the doctors dispose of it, I don’t know. But I do know that people pee, poop, and sweat out the chelated metals. From there it goes into the ground and wherever waste is processed (which in municipalities ends up as “purified” water and back into the environment). I was not aware of its use in agriculture. Thanks for starting this discussion.
