Hi Andrew, Broccoli and Brussels don’t mind a light frost if there hardened off a bit first. Seedlings go leggy when they don’t get enough light (or the light and warmth aren’t balanced). I don’t know where you are growing them, but a window sill is usually bad – too warm not enough light.
