Andrew,
In crop, ryegrass a major one as a result of converting an irrigated dairy farm. It’s emerging stongly again now within some organic planted Buckwheat, sown for weed suppression objectives. Then in spring as more La Nina influenced rain events came through we saw the summer weeds really emerge, milk thistles, some variegated thistle and then hogweed/wireweed which came on strong from mid December onwards. This meant the header could only really strip the heads and not take in more weeds lower to process through the seed terminator on the back of the header. So having that weed seed destructor was essentially useless as too much green weed material for the header to cut the crop lower.
