I don’t specifically have experience with it yet, but alternative types of herbivores can help “consume” some of the parasite load. For example, moving cattle into the grazing area that is suspected to be infected….They graze the grass and ingest the larvae, but they may be a dead end host (i havent researched those parasites for sure though–most of my experience is simply with barberpole worm).

In my mind, eliminating them may be possible if you understand their life cycle thoroughly. Frequent movement and pasture rests will most likely be necessary to “short-circuit” the pest life cycle.
