Michael, Since you first posted, I have had discussions with an entomologist from the University of Florida that specializes in leaf miner. I have purchased the system that he recommended called MalEx. It’s made by a company called Alpha Scents in Oregon. It is the leaf miner pheromone combined with a imidacloprid. It only takes one drop per tree. There is an amazing video on their website of the male leaf miner literally mating with this droplet and dying. As soon as pheromone traps detect leaf miner moths I’m putting out my first application.
