Grasses are difficult. I’m small enough to chop & drop everything else, and keep interplanting the next crop or cover. Least destructive way to rid grasses seems to be solarization with black plastic for a few weeks followed by compost or mulch with compost extract and EM. Getting sets in right away helps and hand pulling the few surviving clumps of grass.
