I am not an expert on sap analysis – although we use them for our strawberries and notice different things at different times of the season.

What we find is we need to have several tests done to compare. When we get tests done, they can take over 10 days for us to get an answer, and from that we have several different weather conditions and stages of the plant’s cycle.

From that we are able to look at what we have been applying, and then send that to the agronomist who will then assist us in to correcting our fertigation mix.

What I have learnt as well, which is very significant, is that just because something appears over or under, simply reducing or adding more of, is not always the answer. By reducing or adding other nutritional elements may be the answer, and that my friend, is where I get stuck. I have no idea what I am meant to be reducing or adding because I’m not an agronomist.
