Mostly goldenrod, some asters, some Canadian thistle, some mullein and some Kentucky blue grass.
Other very short forbs. Even some lichen on the exposed ground.
How common is it do you think for apple growers or other fruit growers to manage the mowed understory by sowing what you what? Thinking of orchard grass and Boston plantain (its a bit taller and its a taprooted plant).
