Haven’t seen it often that I recall, but is theoretically possible. Are your referring to K and NH4 antagonizing each other in the plant or in the soil? Both are cations, with a similar hydration radius, and can be locked up on clay colloids on soil clay types. High ammonium in plants also produces a reduced environment in the root zone, and an alkali plant sap, which can reduce the absorption of K.
